Pittormie Fruit Farm is family run and will be familiar to many using the St Michaels to Cupar road. It is easy to stop in to their farm shop and stock up on eggs, home made jams, seasonal fruits, a wide range of vegetables (including asparagus) and other local produce. What marks their fruit and veg out is it's tastiness - they use minimal amounts of chemicals and don't force plants on by overwatering, as often happens with potatoes. Though not that many farmers will have needed to water potatoes this year…
